mission
communicate culture and history from the world to the Chinese local audience
The "Centre Pompidou x West Bund Museum Project" initiated in Shanghai in 2019. This is viewed as the most significant project for cultural exchange and collaboration between France and China so far. As an intern working in the Marketing team for this project, I collaborated with the museum curator to design the museum merchandise and promotional materials. By using world-reowned artworks in Centre Pompidou's collection as inspirations and resources for the museum merchandise, we aim to communicate culture from all around the globe to Chinese audiences through the most approachable experience.

In order to amplify the playfulness of Françoise Pétrovitch's works, we decide to make the bag's shape more organic, replacing the traditional conception of bags.
totebags
reinforcing the museum's brand identity
For the tote bags, we want to make something that people would bring with on their ways to cafes and libraries. We want to make them has both the style from French and Chinese street fashion. Thus for the colors, we did a research on the most popular colors in people's dressing from both countries.
